Our StoryContactEaster 2027 · Ages 11–18
Two weeks of English, nature and Irish culture in Kerry this Easter, living with a welcoming local family.
The programme
Every weekday starts with three hours of lively, communicative English in small international classes. In the afternoons, students explore the mountains, beaches and national parks of South Kerry, and discover Irish music, dance and Celtic culture along the way.
Students live with a host family, sharing with at least one student of another nationality, so English becomes the language of everyday life.
✓15 hours of English lessons a week
✓Full board with a Garda-vetted host family
✓5 supervised afternoon activities a week
✓Indoor workshops: cooking, music, drama and Irish dancing
✓A full-day Saturday excursion every week
✓Airport transfers from Cork or Kerry*
✓Classroom materials, entrance fees and admin fees
✓End-of-course certificate
*Arriving and departing at the weekend, ideally on a Sunday.
Afternoons & excursions
Every activity is supervised by our staff and designed so students use English naturally, with friends from other countries.
Hikes, beaches and national parks, with plenty of fresh air.
Hands-on workshops where English is the tool, not the subject.
Time to slow down, work together and feel at home.
A typical day
Students feel settled from day one, because they always know what comes next and who is looking after them.
9:00
Three hours of communicative English in small, mixed-nationality classes.
Afternoon
Nature trips, Irish culture and creative workshops, all supervised.
Evening
Dinner and the evening with the host family. Juniors are home by 10pm.
Weekend
A full-day excursion on Saturday, and a relaxed family Sunday with the hosts.

Easter 2027
Lessons run Monday to Friday. Students arrive the weekend before, ideally on Sunday 21 March, with free transfers from Cork or Kerry airport.
How payment works: a €200 refundable deposit reserves the place. The balance is due six weeks before arrival. Optional extras: gluten-free diet €25 per week; unaccompanied minor airline service €50 per journey.
Good to know
On the weekend before the course, ideally Sunday 21 March, so they can use the free transfer from Cork or Kerry airport. They meet everyone in class on Monday morning.
It is shorter, and the afternoons focus on nature and Irish culture: hikes, national parks, the Atlantic coast, music and dance, rather than summer water sports.
You’ll receive full host family details at least three weeks before arrival.
On free evenings, only with the host family’s permission, and every junior must be home by 10pm.
Tell us when you book and we’ll match your child with a suitable family. A gluten-free diet has a €25 weekly supplement.
Yes. Just choose the unaccompanied minor option when you book. There is a €50 school supplement per journey.
