The programme

Time to look after the person who looks after everyone else.

Each morning brings English-medium workshops on well-being, resilience and creativity, with ideas you can take back to your own classroom. In the afternoons you slow down and get outdoors: coastal walks, the cliffs at Bray Head, Valentia Island, Irish music and culture.

You stay full board with a local host family, so English becomes part of everyday life. The course fits Erasmus+ staff mobility, and we’ll help with the paperwork.

Questions people ask

Who is it for?

Teachers at any level, from primary to adult education, who want to recharge, practise their English and bring fresh ideas back to school.

When should I arrive?

On the Sunday before your option starts: 21 March for Option A, or 28 March for Option B. The transfer from Cork or Kerry airport is free.

Where will I stay?

With a local host family, full board, in a shared room. A private room is available for an extra €100.

Can I use Erasmus+ funding?

The course is designed for Erasmus+ staff mobility. We’ll send a detailed programme for your school’s application and give you a certificate of attendance at the end.

What about allergies and diets?

Tell us when you enquire and we’ll match you with a suitable host family.
