Morning English classes, then real afternoon placements in local Irish businesses. The summer that looks great on a CV, and feels even better.
The programme
Designed for older teenagers preparing for future study or careers. Mornings are spent in small international English classes; afternoons in a carefully selected local business, serving customers and working alongside Irish colleagues.
Students build professional confidence, teamwork and communication skills, while still enjoying evening events, Saturday excursions and life with a host family.

Where students work
Carefully selected Kerry businesses where students are welcomed as part of the team and supervised throughout. Hotels and restaurants, shops and farms, sea sports and heritage sites.

Summer 2027
Lessons and placements run Monday to Friday. Students arrive the weekend before and fly home the weekend after, with free airport transfers.

How payment works: a €200 refundable deposit reserves the place. The balance is due six weeks before arrival. Optional extras: gluten-free diet €25 per week; unaccompanied minor airline service €50 per journey.
Good to know
Students aged 16 to 18 with at least a B2 level of English, who want real workplace experience alongside their lessons.
Yes. Placements are chosen to be safe, appropriate and supportive, and students are supervised throughout their programme.
Where needed, we provide private transport to and from the workplace.
Yes: two evening social events every week and a full-day excursion every Saturday.
On the Saturday or Sunday before the course starts, so they can use the free airport transfer from Cork or Kerry.
On free evenings, with the host family’s permission, and every student under 18 must be home by 10pm.
