Looked after like one of the family

Before they arrive

No surprises on day one

Everything is arranged and shared with you well before your child travels.

At booking

Tell us about your child

Allergies, diets, whether they are happy with dogs or cats, and any friend or sibling they would like to share with. We match the host family around them.

3 weeks before

Meet the host family

You receive your host family's details at least three weeks before arrival, so your child can say hello before they land.

Flights

Transfers arranged

Send us the flight details and we arrange the transfer. Travelling alone? Choose the unaccompanied minor option when you book (a €50 school supplement per journey).

Arrival day

Straight to the family

Free weekend transfers from Cork or Kerry airports bring students directly to their host family's door.

Host families

A real Irish home, chosen with care

Every host family is Garda-vetted and carefully selected, and Adi personally matches each student to their family. Families live in Cahersiveen town or the villages nearby, and some are on working farms.

Students share with at least one student of another nationality, so English becomes the language of home. Sundays are family days, spent with the hosts.

Every host family

✓Garda-vetted

✓Full board, with your child's diet and allergies in mind

✓Matched to pets, friends and siblings you tell us about

✓Matched personally by Adi, who is there for anything at home

“The host family was very kind, and from the first minute they tried to make me feel comfortable by including me in their daily life… We spent an amazing month! I felt so happy that I keep coming back every summer.”

Carla · former student from Valencia, Spain

Every day

Clear routines, clear rules

Juniors have freedom to enjoy Kerry, inside a structure parents can trust.

01

Supervised days

Lessons, afternoon activities and Saturday excursions are all supervised by our team, with clear meeting points and routines.

02

Social evenings

Two organised social evenings a week, run by the school, so students make friends from every country in a safe setting.

03

Home by 10pm

Free evenings are only allowed with the host family's permission, and every junior must be home by 10pm.

04

No alcohol

Under-18s may not drink alcohol. Breaking this rule can lead to immediate repatriation.

Student welfare

Meet Adi, who looks after every student

Adi is a holistic educator and counsellor, and the person who looks after how every student is feeling. She welcomes each student on their first day and checks in with them throughout their stay. If anything is on their mind, from settling in to missing home, Adi is there to listen and help.

Staying in touch

A real person, in your language

Our team speaks English, Italian and Spanish, so parents can always talk to us easily. We keep in touch with students through WhatsApp for updates during their stay, and parents have an emergency number they can call at any time.
